#03: Ample Hills Creamery

While we ventured through Meatpacking, we stopped by Ample Hills Creamery at Bubby’s High Line. There wasn’t much of a line, which worked out pretty sweet as the employee gave us samples of damn near every flavor with a quick break down of the must-trys. After about 15 samples, we decided on the location’s exclusive flavor, “Floatin’ Over the High Line”, with a scoop of “The Munchies” inside their chocolate chip cone. As you take your first lick of “Floatin’ Over the High Line”, you’ll instantly be brought back to your childhood. Bubby’s house made root beer syrup really ties it together without that fake sugar-syrupy taste. “The Munchies”, well, is pretty much all your favorite junk food snacks combined into ice cream heaven. Both flavors were incredibly rich in texture and went well together. Also, their house made Chocolate Chip Cone ain’t that bad either, especially as it soaks up the ice cream – just be careful, it can get a little messy 😜
