While we wrapped up our final hours in VT, we swung into the Ben & Jerry’s factory to grab a cone.
We got there later in the day so we missed the ice cream tours which wasn’t a biggie since we took the tour on a prior visit. If you do have the chance to take the tour, it’s worth doing at $4.00 a ticket to walk through the ice cream making process (and get a sample). There’s a takeout counter outside and a courtyard with tons of seating so we made our way to order. We went with a scoop of two of their new flavors: Empower Mint™ and Brownie Batter.
The Empower Mint™ was peppermint ice cream with fudge brownies and swirls. We love mint chip so this was a home run especially with chunks of fudge. Brownie Batter reminded us of a childhood desert: brownies with chocolate & vanilla ice combined into one scoop…YES.
P.S. – They also have a great gift shop and the “Flavor Graveyard” where you can pay respects to those flavors no longer with us 🙏😂
